Today has been a fruitful day! Say YEAH!!! (: Started off with morning prayer, worship practice, judging Massad auditions, cell group, worship practice again, cell group AGAIN, listened to Teddy's sermon, watched Titanic, did Russian homework and here I am blogging!

I have never played the guitar for such a long period of time in a day before! The tip of my fingers are practically hardened by now. It was blue-black earlier! haha.. But it was all worth it coz' the best way to spend playing the guitar is when you play it for Jesus!

So happy happy now! I got a feeling...................

Oh how I wish I could be in that gondola right now. Cruising my way peacefully through the romantic "Floating City". It would be heavenly.

My seniors & friends went there this winter and they told me that Venice is beeeuuuuuuuuteeeefool! But the gondola ride is super the duper expensive! I might as well just wait till after I get a 5 digit or more pay before going there. :)

Thank you Lord for all the things that have happened for the past 3 months. All the good and bad. For I know that everything happens for a reason - a good reason; one that has been conceived by You.

Things do not often appear as they seem on the surface. I have learned that people will disappoint us, but God will never disappoint us.

It takes a lot of strength and courage to love others. No matter how many times people may disappoint us, we just gotta keep pressing on and continue loving them with an unconditional love. And our direct source of strength to love comes from God because God is love.

Hello folks =)

It's been ages since I've blogged. Dust bunnies have been partying in my blog. Time to shoo those dust bunnies away. Maybe it can come again next semester when I get busier. (:

Autumn is lovely. Weather's good; sunny skies with a slight cool breeze, golden brown leaves scattered everywhere, green grass, chubby pigeons who don't budge when u scare them, awesome events happening, great friends who are continually supportive and caring, and a blossoming change taking course.

This season is all about change. It's gonna be good. Things will just get better and better from now on, albeit more challenges and slippery paths up ahead. God is faithful. =)

It is now only the beginning of my remarkably well-written journey. I'll keep running forward till I reach my destination. And I know I won't be running alone.

I was just browsing through my 'sent' emails and i read back some of the old e-mails that I've sent last year and the year before last. I've said things which I have totally forgotten about. Things which made me realize how much I've been missing out just because of my immaturity back then.

But now, I feel liberated. I am so glad that I've outgrown that phase. I'm bold enough to say that I'm glad I chose to move forward, to leave it all behind and never look back. I truly believe that God chose to redeem me because He has great plans in stored for my future.

Today, I know that my God is an ever faithful God. His unconditional love is sufficient for me to last me throughout all the days of my life. And I will choose to walk with Him and honour Him in every aspect of my life.

Thank you for giving me a wake up call a year ago Lord. I love You! (:

There are dandelions everywhere now. Sometimes, when the strong winds do shake the darling buds of May, the dandelions disperse like a hurricane. It's wonderful to stand in the middle of a field full of dandelions at that time. Oh the feeling of serenity.

I recently found out that the dandelions we've come to know all our lives as 'dandelions' are actually called parachute balls! How lovely.

Moscow is beginning to feel more and more like home to me everyday. 14-03 B in Dom 39 is my home sweet home now. There's no place I'd rather be now. (:

I realized that I've not dedicated a post to you girls for quite some time already. hehe. Sorry ya. You girls should know that I love you the most right?

I just wanna say thankieuuuuu for sticking with me through thick and thin, good and bad times, exciting and tiring times, ups and downs and so much more. Indeed, I would not trade or exchange anything in the world for the both of you.

During the first few months here, life in 14-03 B was kinda rocky because we were still adapting to one another's habits, and also because I wasn't around much. I'm sorry.

BUT we managed to run this race together, and look where we are at now. We can be transparent with one another, share our deepest secrets, laugh at our own internal jokes, share our properties, love and care for one another, and so so so much more.

Don't medical students ever get any rest? Or at least 5 hours of sleep everyday? haha. Guess not. Oh weeeeeeeeell.. :P

I'll be making burgers for cell group this Saturday. Lord-HELP-me!!! Hopefully no one will get an upset tummy. hehe..

There's only two months left before my first year in Moscow ends. Kinda sad yet happy at the same time.

Sad coz the MOST RELAXING year is coming to an end. Happy coz I get to GO HOME and run into the arms of those who love me the most.

Sad coz I'll be missing my hostel friends for 2 months. Happy coz I get to meet all my friends back in Malaysia.

Sad coz time really flies by like the speed of light. Happy coz I'm growing by God's grace everyday.

Thank you Lord for everything! I know that a delay is not a denial. Everything has its own season, right? =)

Yesterday was a beautiful day! :)

The weather is so cooling and refreshing now. I think I have finally come to accept the fact that winter is so-NOT-nice! Boohoo.. But the snow is so lovely and unique, and that's the ONLY thing that people love about winter.

It was sunny with a slight breeze of wind yesterday; perfect time to take a stroll in the park. My cellies and I walked to the park to celebrate Easter together. We laughed, teased one another, took pixxies etc. :P

You can check out the rest of the pixxies through my fb. It would be a hassle to upload all of them here again. In other words, I malas! (^@^)

Anyway, I slept for less than two hours the day before yesterday (Friday). haha. I thought I wouldn't be able to wake up for morning prayer on Saturday. But surprisingly, I felt so energetic after morning prayer. So semangat till I couldn't sleep back. Prayer is a supernaturally amazing enigma.

I would love to talk more about the Easter celebration, BUT I have to study for my Biology colloquim tomorrow. sigh. And I realized that I'm not as long-winded as I used to be when I blogged last time. I prefer to keep things short, sweet and simple now. =)

I don't know why laaaaaaaaa. I've been feeling a lil' bit emo-ish during the last couple of days. Sigh.

Maybe I miss home. As in REALLY really really miss home.

Eventhough I've been called ploha and kashmar today by my Russian teacher (I think I almost cried), I will persevere and strive to do even better! All I need now is T-I-M-E. Where art thou? Thou seem to leave me at an uncatchable state.

But what happens if that upside down smile comes back again after you pray?
You pray even harder.

Upside down and downside up often happen in life. Good and bad. Happiness and sadness. Breakthrough and stagnation. Victory and defeat. Joy and sorrow. Peace and distress. Excitement and anxiety. Sweet and sour.

Life is like a bunch of bananas. Some are good, while some are bad. If you opt to pluck out the bad bananas, you'll leave a mark or a hole at the place where you've plucked it out. And you can't use a glue to stick another good banana at that spot because it simply wouldn't fit. I mean, you wouldn't even wanna eat a banana, no matter how good it is; that has glue on its top right?

When you eat the good bananas, you feel happy and satisfied. It even helps you with your constipation problems! But when you see a bad banana, the first thing that comes to your mind is to cut it out and throw it away. Of course, I'm not encouraging you to eat the bad bananas 'coz you might get a really bad tummyache. hehe.

I'm not making sense, no.

Guess what guess what guess what?!

Russian control was kinda kashmar (disaster) coz' I somehow managed to forget all the grammar rules. There are really a lot to remember okayyy! It's really a pain trying to remember which ending follows which rule and so on.

Anyway, it was still good. If I do fail, I'll just aim to do better next time, and to study study study everyday too.

MUST-BE-DILIGENT! :)

Anatomy colloq was surprisingly E-A-S-Y! Why? Our teacher came in and asked us to take out a piece of paper and pen, and told us to write down our answers on a PIECE OF PAPER (this can be considered a sacred moment for us because all exams for Anatomy are supposed to be practical; not theory). :P

So, I guess I know the reason why I've been so relaxed for the past couple of days. I know I may have been taking this exam too lightly. But I still want to thank God for softening our teacher's heart. It's not everyday where one gets to answer in theory for one's anatomy exam. Yay!

I need to study more diligently from now on. Although my days are packed with so many other activities, I must always remember my first priority here!

My priority is to love God with all my heart, soul, strength and mind. And one of the ways to show my love for God is to study smart and study hard, so that He can bring me into the bright future that He has promised me! =)

I got fooled today. eish eish eish.. haha :D

It's been so long since I've last blogged. Honestly, I have no idea how my interest in blogging began. I guess maybe because it was the norm back then. Or maybe because I was too bored. =)

Now that life is getting busier, more responsibilities to shoulder, new knowledge to gain, new friendships to build, more tests to ace and so much more; one should begin to wonder why on earth am I here blogging?

I'll tell you again honestly; I do not have a single clue. My brain just told me to write, and I guess the best way to write looooong and boring essays is through a blog. You see, facebook is not adequate enough. No. I'm a rather long-winded person, albeit a teeny-weeny bit blurr at times. :P

I have much to complain about, yet at the same time I have much much more to thank God for! Life here in Moscow ain't easy. But I guess it's the same everywhere whether you're from the North Pole or from the Indian Ocean, life will never be smooth-sailing.

But at the end of the day, one thing that brings me fullness of joy and peace is the love that God has for me and all His little children here on this planet earth we call home. God will be forever faithful, and His love is neverending! Amen! (:

On another random note, I just wanna make a shout out here to two very special friends in my life. =)

"Charis & Yan, thanks for being such lovely roomies. Indeed, the both of you have enriched me and brought more joy and laughter into my life. Thanks for sticking with each other through good, bad and tough times. I know that there will be much more exciting adventures in stored for us in these 5 years to come.
